Knowing that Calli wouldn't have school today - I thought a trip to the Children's Museum would be nice. But having received a foot of snow, I was afraid the place would be packed with families who needed an outing on a snow day. Nope - we almost had the place to ourselves - which is so very fun!
Mari picks out some lettuce. I later heard Calli refer to it as broccoli. I guess that makes it obvious that I give my children neither lettuce or broccoli. Actually, maybe I should just consider myself fortunate she identified it with a vegtable.
Calli looking for the barcode to "scan" each package at the checkout.
Mari trying to get the top of the water bottle in the Potbelly's exhibit.
The girls playing in the water exhibit - where I have never been brave enough to go. They LOVED it.
Mari sliding down Clifford's tail. Notice how wet her shirt is from previously mentioned water exhibit.
Calli, carefully studying each letter in Clifford World to determine who it went to. She took the job very seriously.
She even got into costume to be the mail carrier. She spent so much time putting letters in her bag - delivering them - and checking for more letters to mail.
Calli designed and built this all on her own. Impressive - don't ya think?
