Today we went on a nice (though not particularly relaxing) picnic with Jamie and kids. The older kids wanted to run around and play, but wanted mom to be there to help/play. The younger girls wanted to stand, but to have mom support them the whole time. And the moms, I think we wanted to sit there, have adult conversation, and slowly eat our lunches - dream on!
One pleasant surprise, was that Mari tolerated, possibly even enjoyed swinging. Maybe she is old enough to like it, or maybe she thought is was okay because Izumi was right next to her.
Koji and Calli took turns turning the wheel. Koji took his post very seriously!!
