We went to see Grandma and Grandpa K for the weekend. We even got to go to a cool Easter Party at their local community center where they had all kinds of fun things to do: Easter egg hunt, breakfast, simple crafts, inflatable jump tent and slide, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Mari would not sit anywhere NEAR the Easter Bunny, but we managed to get this cute pic instead.
And we also managed to explain that the reason we are happy at Easter is that "Jesus is alive". That he died on the cross so that "we could be friends with God", and the now "Jesus is alive". Mari even told our neighbors "Jesus is alive" when they asked if the Easter bunny had come to visit!
